How do I turn this on?

You know how when you place the mouse over a crossfade and it shows you how many frames the crossfade is? There are other similar pop-ups throughout the program.

Well, somehow I turned off these pop-up indicators. Even a mouse over on the tool bar shows no pop-up.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to turn these pop-ups back on.

1.) Could someone please tell me where to do this?
2.) What are these pop-ups called?

options/preferences/ uncheck "disable pop up animations"

kentwolf, if that doesn't work, try restarting vegas with default settings...close and reopen while holding ctrl+shift.

I don't think "disable pop up animations" effects all hover screen tips, however I could be wrong

I did see that previously before posting and that wasn't it. I ended up reloding my capture partition (via DriveImage) and started from scratch, so I got it "fixed."

It would really be helpful if I could determine this setting and NOT have to restore my whole partition due to just turning this off.

Apparently, I got a little carried away on the keyboard and somehow turned it off.

It does not.

Seeing it is now working, I can't turn it off to test this. I appreciate the info though.

Does anyone have any idea what this setting is?
