How do I zoom, Crop, resize then reposition video

I know how to use the pan, crop and zoom, however I am having a problem repositioning the zoomed portion of the clip. Here is what I am trying to do

I want to highlight a portion of the video by zooming in on it, but I want to then crop the highlighted portion to play in the upper corner at the same time as the full sized video.

What I do is copy the video segment, add video track, paste the video in the new video track, then zoom in on the portion of the video I want to highlight, however I now want to reduce the clip size a bit and drag it into the corner.

I can do this no problem if I zoom out to shrink the clip, then use the pan to move it to the corner, but I want to ZOOM IN, crop, then reposition the clip and I don't know how. I made a youtube video to demonstrate where I am stuck

Use Pan/Crop to crop the video to the selection you want. Then use Track Motion to resize and reposition it.

Thank you so much! I knew it should be easy. I've only been using Vegas for a few months so i don't know all the tools.

I searched google and Youtube but every search just kept coming up with the pan / crop tool.

After watching a quick track motion tutorial I got it.

Check the help file. It explains a lot of the "basic" how-to's. IE do a help search for "move" and the second video result (several audio) is the track motion tool. It even gives visual examples of what things will look like.
