How do we get the 64 bit Noise Reduction Plugin?

Can someone from Sony provide an official answer to this question please?

I own Noise Reduction 2.0. In the Vegas 12 materials there is direct reference to support for a new 64 bit version of the Noise Reduction Plugin.

However - how do we get that 64 bit plugin? I have tried installing the latest version (2.0k - October 2012) but that does not work.

Others here have confirmed they see it - however that may be because they have the latest version of Sound Forge (which may include it).

So... how do those of us with the prior NS 2.0 plugin get the 64 bit version.

Thanks!

Here’s what worked for me – install Sound Forge trial, uninstall. NR 64-bit now shows in VP 12.

Have SF10 via a cross grade offer and latest updates.
NR shows in VP12 but does not appear to work. OK I can open audio in SF and apply NR and it works.

Has anyone got NR working with just the NR installated as an FX?
If so how is it used? On my sysytems noise print goes through the motions of capture but no more.

It would appear that SF must be installed and NR accessed via SF.

Not had SF9 so cannot comment on older workings.

Hans... that is pretty amazing. I'll give that a try. I do wish Sony would add their official word on this in any case.

DiverG: In VP11 I could only capture a noise print if I added NR2 plugin to an event FX. If I added it as a track level FX the noise-print would not be captured.
