How do you convert colors for wmv encode?

My HD wmv encodes have really washed out colors. I know that this has something to do with broadcast colors and RGB conversion, and I've messed with the Vegas broadcast colors filters, but I can't figure out how to set this up. Can somebody explain to me exacty how to set up a wmv encode that doesn't look washed out.

It seems like it's not levels so much as saturation. I usually use the color corrector and bump the saturation up to 1.2 or 1.25. It really puts life back into the image.

Do either:
1- Apply the Color Corrector filter, "studio RGB to computer RGB" preset.
2- Use Windows Media Encoder. Actually I don't think there's much point in this.

OK, that makes more sense. I was trying to use the "Broadcast Colors" filter.
