Hello guys,
Could anyone please tell me how I can create this text effect where the text it seems likes comes from the front to the back.. I have included a video with example. At 0:08 you see the first text appearing.

I recommend doing a search on YouTube, there are many tutorials for using Vegas.

Knowing the pan/crop tool and knowing how to use it, are of course two different things.
John demonstrates how to get a similar effect, but it's not quite the effect shown in your example.
The fly-in effect shown in your example is about 10 frames long and uses also a "fast fade" slope on the first keyframe. At the most far point (the second keyframe) the two line text changes it's line spacing to make place for a second coloured text. Depending on the Vegasversion you have, this effect can also completely be made with the Title&Text mediagenerator, so without the pan/crop tool. The fly-in can be done by setting two keyframes for the Scale factor (from 20,000 to 1,000) and also the line spacing can be controlled by setting two keyframes (from 1,000 to 2,000) to generate space for a second text event that shows the coloured text.
