how do you curve or free transform your videos?

just like in photoshop where u have depth and perspective on the pictures. can u do the same on the videos. like for example you tape a bunch of buildings with a huge jumbotron tv. then u want to superimpose a video on it like it was playing it. but you can always have the shot straight on. the perspecitivie has the bend the vid. i first track motion the vid to shrink it up. then put it on the jumbotron then i used deform but i can't seem to match it up.

is there an easier way?

Not sure how you would bend the video - but I'm not sure that I entirely understand what you're trying to do - if it's bend it over a cuved dome - I have no idea how to / if you can.

If it's just place it with a different perspective - try using the 3D source alpha compositing mode. That would allow you to move the video plane 3 dimensionally.

Have a look at "Wax" free plugin :

Use the 3D compositing mode with a Spherize FX. don't know if this helps, you might also want to try the distort FX

If you mean this:

http://www.howstuffworks.com/jumbo-tv2.htm

Then you are on the correct track - using track motion.

Now when you say:

1/ - "the perspecitivie has the bend the vid." Well, bend, you mean bend? You quite correctly give the PS perspective example. Perspective will deform a 2-d visual so that it either falls away in space OR gets bigger towards the viewer. Its the bend that has got me worried? Perspective is "straight" deformation to or from the vanishing point/horizon. No bends!

If it is bends you want, then this wont be achieved by track motion or the 3-d option you are looking for. I'm repeating this here - and I realise others have said it - but am I correct in thinking that the "building" itself is bent? Is that why you are saying you need to bend it?

2/- "i first track motion the vid to shrink it up. " - Yup, that's what I would do. Not getting you the 3-d bend you want though - is it?

3/- "then put it on the jumbotron then i used deform but i can't seem to match it up." - Now, are you saying - as I said above - that the building itself is bent? And you can not "match" this to the bend? OR, and this is only my thoughts on it . . Are you you having trouble "aligning" the two together? Did you shoot the building with a camera MOUNTED on a tripod? Or was the video "given" to you and you can now see it is "shaky" and you cannot match/align your video TO the buildings - 'cos they are moving? This you can solve with careful use of "Positioning" KeyFrames for the Video.

. . any good?

The other option, depending on the below lying image, is to use a Custom Compositing Mode, and use either Displacement or Height Map to conform it to the image beneath. That's exactly what these were designed to do, but the success or failure lies with the image that is the other images is to be bent/bowled/modified by.
You can find a tutorial on how this works at:
http://www.sundancemediagroup.com/tutorials/heightmap.htm
There is also one on the DMN site, but their site is down, so I can't find you a link
