I read it once, I'll sleep on it and read again. The methods suggested by Rafrano are very different than the method we discussed in this thread using normalization in Sound Forge.

My stuff is not for broadcast, just friends and family. My main goal was to keep the sound level to a point where the listener didn't have to ride the volume control. Just set at the beginning and its done.
