I'd like to incorporate some vid clips downloaded from the internet in a project, but I can't see any way to save them to the hard drive. The "save" and "save as" areas are grayed out. I've also tried searching the hard drive for the downloaded files, but can't find them. Anyone have any suggestions?
A lot of streaming files are not saveable. (if that is a word), but sometimes they are saved as a temp file.
Look under Windows, Temporary Internet Files, and look a large temp file at approx. the time you downloaded it. Sometimes it is there. If it is a RealPlayer file, these are usually not stored, but MPEGS and DIVX files sometimes are.
If you find it , move it ouf of the temp file and rename it.
