How I got screen capture to work......

Thought I'd post this even though I use the AMD utility which is very good. I run an AMD480 8 gig GPU and have an intel I7 CPU with 32 gig of ram. My "monitors" are a 50" 4K TV and a 28" wide view monitor (1080P). I could never get the Vegas SC to work, just the black square. However, I wanted to access some features on the 28" monitor that did not work with the AMD card, so I switched it to the motherboard DVI video output. Then after a couple of months went by on a lark I tried Vegas Capture again, it worked perfectly in that setup with 28" while the 50" out of the AMD work fine with the AMD utility. I do some Zoom presentations with a photography group and now I can capture both screen simultaneously. So if you have more than one monitor and Vegas capture doesn't work , try hooking one monitor up to your mother board and see if that works.

I prefer the AMD utility but this work around for Vegas Capture has given me one more tool in my kit.

Or just switch to OBS which just works and gives you finer control over what you capture and how. :-)

System 1:

Windows 10
i9-10850K 10 Core
128.0G RAM
Nvidia RTX 3060 Studio driver [most likely latest]
Resolution        3840 x 2160 x 60 hertz
Video Memory 12G GDDR5

System 2:

Lenovo Yoga 720
Core i7-7700 2.8Ghz quad core, 8 logical
16G ram
Intel HD 630 gpu 1G vram
Nvidia GTX 1050 gpu 2G vram

Or the AMD utility. However some folks want it to so this is one solution that folks can try.
