How import mp3 VP17 ?

I would like to import mp3s on vegas pro 17, but in the music folder, I do not see my list of MP3s as if Vegas Pro did not accept this format. The wave carries, but not the MP3, how to do?

No problem here with *.mp3; as sylk pointed out "Import" is the key. Btw. there is an explicit option for mp3 Import if you scroll down

What are the properties of your mp3 files?
There must be something wrong with your files or with the installation of VPro 17. Maybe resetting the program helps you.

If I do any files, I import the MP3 sound, I put it on the bar, but the sound is graying, it's weird that it does that to me.

Please post MediaInfo about one of your mp3.

And try an other mp3 from an other source.

I reinstalled vegas pro and it works, strange to uninstall and reinstall for it to work.

Hello, i have the same problem. All these years, all of my Vegas versions have been able to read mp3 files. But suddenly it did not work anymore. I reinstalled vegas now for the second time, but mp3 still doesnt work.

OMG i fixed the problem after 3 hours:

Hold down the CTRL + SHIFT keys at the same time AND ALSO AT THE SAME TIME double click program icon on Desktop to Boot program. Select Delete all Cached Application Data and then press Yes. This will restore program to Factory Default Settings.
