HOW IN THE DICKENS DO YOU BURN A DVD?!?

I just purchased the Vegas Movie Studio 8.0 and DVD Architect Studio 4.5
I have spent weeks putting together an hour and 1/2 of video and photos for a high school reunion.
Now I want to burn it, but after going to the Make Movie tool, and "rendering" (whatever that is) first - I can't find the darned finished "render" and don't know what to do now. It takes an hour or two to do that.
I am a GRAMMA and very short on temper - can anyone PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

Grammie Pat,

To directly burn to DVD from Vegas Movie Studio 8, from the File Menu choose Make Movie. Click on Burn it to DVD to select it (you don't want to save it to your hard drive), then click Next.

Hi Gamma,
VMS is a wonderful product but you may have made the wrong choice if you are looking for something that is "quick and dirty". Even for skilled users, VMS takes a little time to get the best results.

What does Charles Dickens have to do with anything?

:)

Just having a little fun. Hope all works out for you - I think you'll find that, after you get used to VMS, it's a really neat program.

Kenny,
Reminds me of when I was a young blade and I pulled into a garage in the middle of nowhere in my old bomb, with a boiling radiator. I asked the guy could he fix it. He thought for a few moments and said yes, he'd sell me a can of petrol and a box of matches ... not what I wanted to hear.
