How Long Will Magix Continue To Support Vegas Pro 14?

I was just curious if anyone knows how long Magix will continue to provide bug fixes and updates to Vegas Pro 14. I am assuming that it might be buried somewhere in the EULA, but was wondering if anyone knew. I am using Vegas 14 on a massive project right now and while I will be upgrading to 15, I don't want to actually change anything until the project is done, which will take a few more months. Vegas 14 is relatively stable right now, so I want to keep using it for the foreseeable future, even though I will take the upgrade to 15.

I doubt there will be any more updates to VP14. All the effort will be on later versions now.

I think it will be "supported" indefinitely, in terms of honoring your serial number for activation.

I can see them doing that. Thank you!

I don't think v14 will be supported anymore. I was told that I would continue to be allowed to use it, but that was when I enquired about obtaining v15 within a couple of months of being sent an offer to upgrade to v14 (I paid $250 for the upgrade and was deliberately kept in the dark about the upcoming new release).

I'm asking to be upgraded to v15 as part of my original upgrade purchase 1. because the interface has been improved (v14 and before has a somewhat clunky interface that requires a lot of extra mouse actions) and 2. so that I can continue to receive bug fixes (now that v14 will no longer be supported).

Is there anyone else who has recently upgraded to v14 and not informed about the v15 release? I am asking Magix customer services to upgrade everyone who has paid for a new or upgraded version since 1 June (for free) .

Nobody specifically was deliberately kept in the dark about the new released. It's no different then a new car or version of Windows: you have no rights to it until you're given it, doesn't matter when you bought the previous product.

I didn't want Vegas 14 and was willing to wait to see what 15 offered. No trickery involved.
