How many times does VV4 require registration?

How many times does VV4 require the annoying registration process. My video computer is not connected to the web, so its a pain to be working along only to discover that I have to stop and go spend the next 15 minutes registering the software AGAIN. Seems like VV3 required three or four times before everything went right --- initial registration, MPG3 registration, Video codec registration, and was there another? Can't remember....

Generally i've had two registrations: one for the Sonic Foundry software itself and one for the MPEG encoder. If you've reinstalled other items such as Noise Reduction then they may need reregistration as well the first time you access them.

Same here-- only had to input the serial number, register once for the program, once for the MPEG.

I went back and checked, and yes, VV3 requires three registerations. They are: the product itself, the mp3 codec and the main concept codec. Noise reduction (if you install it) requires another registration. Four registerations to use one program! C'mon SF, this is overkill.

I agree it's annoying, but let's not forget that the MP3 and MC registration is because they are separately licensed and it's part of the terms.
