How the @#$% are you supposed to sidechain in vegas?

I keep trying to use the DB sidechain comp and the TC native DeX along with the TC key input, to sidechain tracks for example the old "kick drum playing the bass guitar trick". BUT, because of plugin delay, the ducking happens at the wrong time.

Is there a way around this?
Can SF please make some sort of plugin delay compensation ?

that may be the way to go...hard to audition it in real time :) but hell

You know, whenever I dare to touch a track eq on drum mixes, I get phase goofiness, I wonder if this isnt the same problem

Good call, Ill check this out. Adjusting latencies on each andf every track is gonna drive certain customers crazy. Whenever it seems REAL bad I run the outs to a console to sum there without any plugs. Maybe we could get that Analog x dude to make a plugin that compensates for latency itself...hmmm

Pipeline,

Well, the AnalogX dude DOES make a DX plugin for sample offsets...

Gotta love it.
