If your camcorder has a Clear Scan feature, you can likely get rid of much of the banding and flicker that normally occurs when recording a CRT; clear scan allows the camcorder’s scan frequency to be synchronized with the CRT’s refresh frequency. However you may not be able to find a single frequency setting that works for multiple monitors (at the same time) as each may have a unique scan frequency. LCD monitors will not give you this problem.
