I reposed this as my other post addressed "registration" while this one addresses registration and activation and I think the subject headline is more to the point.

The Sad Backstory:

After over a day of trying to get Vegas Pro V13 going I'm about to ditch it... and I have been with Vegas since V4.

I bought V13 when Sony still owned the product and have the CD (still in the original box) with the serial number on the included pamphlet.

I use different computers at different times and Vegas always allowed that as long as only one instance was in use at a time.

I say that because I want to install it on the systems I use... One in my studio, one at my desk, one at home, and one in my small customer demo/conference room.

That aside I can't get the first installation activated.

I went online to my account and registered it and then tried to Create an Activation Code... but it wants a computer id number.

Well I ran this at the Windows 10 command line to get the computer id on first computer... the one at my desk...

wmic bios get serialnumber

but it only returned the words Serial Number with no actual number returned... which I see online is blamed on the computer manufacturer... which is a major custom computer building company in Atlanta... who's name will go unmentioned... but I have had no problem installing previous editions of Vegas on it (currently has Vegas Pro V12 and DVD Architect V6.0.

Question: How do I get my Vegas Pro 13 activated on my PC without a computer id?
Question: How do I get my Vegas Pro working on my other 3 pc's as mentioned above?
