How to adjust Text animation speed

Can the Vegas Titles & Text Animation i.e. Popup speed be adjusted? The default setting is a bit fast and I'd like to slow it down.

Yes. Speed can be adjusted in many ways.

1.You can set the duration of the event in Timeline and then in Titles & Text window use the "Match Event Length" function.

2.You too can set the event duration in the "Duration" parameter in the Titles & Text window, and then adjust the event in the timeline.

3.You can also use the TimeStretch tool to adjust the duration of the event in the timeline.

I have now tried this with the Text Popup animation, and only the Time stretch/compress tool did the job. The rest methods did not work. I downloaded Pro 17 today!
