This is supported on track level only (by using the Volume Envelope - pressing key "V").

@Marco.

I was thinking here sometime:

It would be a good idea for developers to create the option of applying audio envelopes also at the individual event, selected events, and loop region/Timeline selection.

Maybe one day. It costs nothing to dream.

Lots of ways to change the volume level in Events,Tracks, Sub-masters, and Master in all versions of VP. There are also some 'not so well known' procedures and such to speed things up, For instance, select segment on the timeline and drag the tracks volume envelope up / down, VP auto inserts points. The Peak Normalize default value can also be changed.

Hello again! Maybe I must clearify my question better: Over a clip I would like to add a voiceover and then I need to reduce the audio level temporary in a part of the clip. I think you call it to create a "rubber band" which enable you to adjust the audio level easy just in a part of a clip. Excuse my bad English!

Kind regards

Marco answered your question. Use the Volume Envelope.

Again, as Macro first stated, 'Volume Envelope' .. "Insert> Volume Envelope" (Keyboard shortcut "V"). A thin blue line will appear on the timeline's audio track. Basically, double-click on the line to add a point(s), click and drag the point or the line to raise / lower. To delete a point, right-click it and select 'Delete'
