How to burn to Blu ray disk from Vegas?

Hey guys,

I'm using the Sony DVD Architect 4.5 for disk authoring and I'm using an LG Super Multi Blu ray burner drive to burn it to my PC hardware is up to date with HDV. The disk I'm using is a Sony BD-RE 25GB Blu ray. In DVD Architect 4.5 there is no Blu ray settings unless I can't fing the right settings so do I use another DVD authoring software?. If so which one works best with Vegas?.

Right now you can't author in DVD 4.5 but a free upgrade this summer will allow authoring BD. You can, however, burn a BD from the timeline in Vegas 8. Just go to tools, burn disc, BD. It works great although you can only burn what's on the timeline - no menus, etc. You can even burn a BR compatible disc on a standard DVD (although you are limited in length to about 20 - 30 minutes). They play on most newer BD players and the Sony PS3.

The DVD-A upgrade to enable Blu-Ray authoring should be 10 days or so away.

Nero 8 will also burn Blu ray with limited menuing using mp2 file. There is currently no menuing (that I can find) from Pro 8 timeline.
