How to capture a DirectX Game to Digital Video Camera?

How to capture a DirectX Game to Digital Video Camera? Can this be done with VideoFactory or Vegas Video? I have a Digital Cammera with Firewire hookup. A MSI Gforce 4 4200 with VIVO, My firewire port is through my Soundcard Audigy.
System is a P4 2.6Mhz with 512megs 1066 Rimms, 4 60gig HD's on raid.

Does your camcorder have analog video inputs? If so, you should be able to send the game out through the TV connector on the video card and record analog to the camcorder. You would then be able to capture the recording through firewire.

No the camera does not have any inputs just a Svideo out and IDV port for the firewire.
