How to capture video to dedicated video drive

Hello members, I've finished projects using VMS6 Plat with clips that were already on my video drive " F". Last night I captured video from my DV camera and VMS6 wrote it to my "C" drive instead of my dedicated video drive "F". I'm a Studio 9,10 convert and the software wrote video to my video drive automatically.

How do I tell VMS6 to write to my video drive when capturing. Also, I did'nt notice an opportunity in the capture dialog where I could assign drive "F" as my video drive.

I'm thanking you all in advance for your help...

Joem

Hello,
Yes, you can tell the software where to put the captured files. I'm not in front of it now, but you set it in the preference section in the video capture program.
I like to create a folder for each video project, so I always go in and change the defaults before I start the capture.

In VidCap, under Options / Preferences / Disk Management, you can specify folders for captured files and select which one to use.
