If the size is less than 43 inches and you're over 40, you're probably not going to be happy with a UHD monitor.

Or use two monitors and have the UHD one for full screen preview and a lower resolution one with the menus at a readable size?

Instead of downloading Sony Vegas you should also purchase Magix VegasPro.
