How to change the grid in Event Pan/Crop!

aboammar wrote on 5/22/2020, 8:52 PM

Hi everyone ..

The default grid of the workspace in the Event Pan/Crop window is set to 2 by 2. See screenshot in the link below. Any idea how to change that to 4 by 4?

I need to create a 16 screen effect so changing the grid/guid to 4 by 4 will help speed up the process with auto snap enabled.

Appreciate your help ...

You're using the wrong tool for this purpose. Use Trackmotion. First setup the wanted grid in the preview.

Then import your media and divide it's resolution by 4 (when grid is 4x4) in Trackmotion. Activate snapping in Trackmotion and precise positioning goes very quick.

Another (faster) possibility is to shrink each event to 25% with PIPfx, which can be done for all events at once and use Trackmotion for each track to position.

@3POINT Thank you so much for your help. I will try your method and hopefully it will work for me 👍

UPDATE: Using the PIPfx, I achieved the desired effect super fast .. Thank you again.
