How to combine multiple vegas files into 1?

Geeee, I would have thought doing a copy from one .veg and opening another and doing a paste would have combined the 2 together. Is there any other way (other than rendering) to combine the contents of 1 save with another? Hope i missed something easy or I would not have done this

It is that easy. Unless you're using Vegas 4, in which case the generated media won't keep it's settings.
Open both copies, leave both open, CTRL+A in one instance, then click in second instance, CTRL+V

it looks like you have to open 2 concurrent instances of vegas to do this. I tried just copying and then opening the other file i wanted to paste into from the same instance of vegas but no paste option is highlighted. I am used to Nuendo where you can do that. Thanks for clarifying. When opening two instances, it worked fine. Thanks again Happy editing!
