There were buttons to create parent tracks and child tracks in older Vegas versions. I haven't found a way to create them in vegas 16. Can someone help me? Thank you.
Click the 'hamburger' icon (three stacked horizontal lines) in the left most part of the track header.

To the uninitiated, it's important to state the type of click used to invoke the Hamburger Menu:
Note the "edit visible button set" on the left click hamburger menu. This will add icons to the track header thereby looking more like previous Vegas versions.

Yes, there is a bug under Vegas Pro 16, the parent track button does not appear automatically when I use the parent/child tracks when I had made all the buttons visible. I had to hide them and make them visible again to find the parent track button
