How to create thumbnail images of videos

Hopefully someone can offer some assistance on this topic.

I am using some video clips created with VF 2.0 on a website. I'd like to show a thumbnail image of a scene of the various clips (much like you see in the VF Project window where clips appear). So far I've gone thru the help menu and don't find any reference to this.

Does anyone know of a simple way to do this?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Cue the timeline to the frame you'd like to show for the thumbnail image
and click the little floppy disk icon just above the preview window. This
pops open a Save dialog box and lets you save that frame as a still
image. The default format is .jpg, which is probably what you want. This
function basically does a "print screen", so the still will be the same
size as the preview window. If you resize the preview window to the size
you want the thumbnails to be, that will save you the step of resizing
them afterwards.
