In Premiere Pro, if you insert a 720p video into a file with 1080p video settings, the video won't fill the whole screen. It will stay at a size that suits it's quality. I've seen people use this effect before, to varying degrees of success, and I was wondering if there was something of the sort in Sony Vegas.
