How to disable Looping?

Hello All:

I am using SVMS Platinum Pro 9.0b.

I'm having a problem in my timeline where VMS wants to constantly create a loop region (or area) where I place my cursor. It is very annoying.

I must have changed a setting in the "Preferences" tab but I cannot figure out which one so that I can change it back. I figured out how to collapse the loop region when no time selection is made. I would like looping to go away altogether. I recognize its value for previewing and fine tuning, but I don't use it much and I want to turn it off. Is this possible?

If you turn off the "repeat loop" button under the timeline (looks like a circular arrow) then "looping" won't loop. It becomes selection only. In that case it only has an effect when you want it to (such as copying), and has no effect when you ignore it.
