How to display Clip Names ?

will-3 wrote on 5/13/2008, 2:33 PM
- I have just dragged 30 short clips to the time line...
- Now I want to make sure I have them in the correct order...
- With Vegas 5... to see the clip name we have to click the clip then click properties.
- Under "view" I didn't see an option to display the clip's name when it is selected...

Is there a way to make Vegas display the clip name when you click on it?

Thanks for any help.

You can have them displayed all the time.
It's an option called "Show Active Take Name".

Sorry,
under View > "Active Take Information"
Tick the box and you should be right.

If you also want the source timecode that's under Options>Preferences>Video then "Show source frame numbers on event thumbnail as".
