How to eliminate the auto fade-in/out when splitting audio clips

I feel like such a newbie for not knowing this [probably] easy answer...

How to avoid the fade-in/fade-out when splitting audio clips? I set all relevant settings to "0" on "Editing" tab (except QuickFade Length which won't allow setting lower than 1).. what am I missing?

Under OPTIONS, did you uncheck Quickfade for audio?
