How to export audio?

Hello,
I must export the audio track to Pro
Tools where it will be edited. There must be a way to do this but I can't figure it out. How do I import the audio track of the video so that it is acceptable to Pro Tools? I have been unable to export the audio from Sony Vegas..
Please help.
