how to export & import media generators

I recently bought a new computer and installed Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 10.0 that was previously installed on my old computer. How do I get my media generators that I made as presets from my old computer to my new one? It seems so logical, but I can't seem to find the resource to do it. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

You can try the Sony preset manager:

Alternatively, create a .vf project that contains samples of generated media using all your presets in the old version, then open the file in the new version. Open the generated media settings window for each sample and press the floppy disk icon to save that preset in the new version.

I tried using the utility you mentioned, but I just can't seem to grasp what I'm supposed to do with it. Anyway, the second idea you gave sounds perfect. I don't have a lot but the ones I have like credits and such, I really don't want to remake.
