How to get perspective change in 3D??

Greetings folks.

I am trying to create a DVD menu video clip that has floating video clips that float by right to left. The key is to get the perspective to change between the clips that are further back on the stage (z axis) so they move slower than the larger clips that closer foward so they move faster.

I am trying to emulate the DVD menu for Cheaper by the Dozen (Steve Martin movie).

Obviously this is using track motion and 3D. My thought was to set the video clips as children and not key frame their movement. Just place them in the space and adust the Z axis so their perspective changes. Then move the Parent Track. I should be able to move the parent track so the children move according to their place in space. Far back slower, up front faster. Unturtunately all I am getting is all the objects locked and moving as one.

Any ideas?

thanks
jack

I would suspect that you should group your videos into differing speed sets, and parent each speed set independently. I don't see how you can get differing speeds of motion with only one parent. John.
