How to identify your video event

I'm used to work with an audio software that keeps a name with each audio event.
How can I know which video event is which once placed on the main vegas window???

There's an option (Options / Preferences / General - Show active take info in events) - make sure this is checked.

You can also display original camera time code on the event thumbnails (Preferences / Video ... Show source fame numbers as ... Timecode)

Is it possible to show the individual AVI's filename sequence number in the rendered MPEG2 file? This would be helpful for picking out highlights from a High School football game, currently I use the timecode.
