How to join events

I have on the timeline many events (with gap between them) and I want to join them to one long event (without crossfade) - I can move each one with the 'snap to grid' but is there any quick way ?

Turn on ripple editing.

Double click the empty space between clips.

Hit Delete.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you are done.
