How to keep T/L Cursor Front and Centre?

Grazie wrote on 4/30/2003, 2:22 AM
VF allowed me to hit the "/" key and have the T/L Cursor remain in the centre of the screen while the Tracks flew past it. Now upgraded to Vegas "/" just does a screen full, tracks fly past and the T/L cursor starts again from the left - if going forward or from the right if scrubbing in reverse.

Any ideas?

DUHHHHHHHH
And I second your "Hellloooo there . . . bumpy bump" !!!
Dude, it's like comming to a Mercedes shop and asking: "My BMW has a button that when that does this, where is this button in Mercedes"
You do realize that they are two completely different applications, different designs, different, different, different: everythign is dfferent, so as you were saying:
"Hellloooo there . . . " anybody home ?!?!?!?!

Grazie,

There is a setting in "internal preferences" called "smooth scroll" I think (doing this from memory). Change this to "yes". To reveal the "internal" tab, hold down Shift when clicking "preferences" from the menu. (sorry in advance if these terms are not quite right).

I like it to smooth scroll as well.
