How to load big files in Vegas Pro 15?

Hi. So quick question. I have a pretty powerful PC (64gb ram, 3080, ryzen 5950) and yet I can't load a 2gb video file into my Vegas Pro 15. Everytime I try loading a big file onto the timeline it just shit's itself and goes into no responding mode and it will be stuck like that for hours (I even tried to leave it for like 5 hours before, thinking it might actually be loading in the background) but doesn't seem like it. The program just shits itself, overflowing buffer would be my guess, but it's weird. It's only 2 gb file. It's not even that big, how do people use this software with big files 100 gb > is beyond me?

Should be no issue....

How you load the media?

Drag n drop from Windows Explorer to VEGAS Timeline? If using this method, there could be 'freeze' during process, but for most of the time, it works.

But I now prefer to go to VEGAS Explorer tab, browse to Media's folder, and right click on the medias to add to Project Media.

Except, there's something wrong with the video media.
