I'm not sure if i'm following correctly but i'll take a stab at it ...

Try creating a PSD file that is the same size as the frame, such as 655x480 for NTSC or 720x576 for PAL. Paste your label graphic into this new blank image at the size and position you want it to appear in the frame. Save as a new image with a transparent background. Now use this new image in Vegas.

Black is the default "background color" in Vegas, so if your transparent PSD is the only thing on the timeline, the "transparent" part of the PSD is going to be black.

I want to peel only the label not the entire frame!
when i try with a transparent psd with any background what happens is the entire frame peels, not only the label!

That's because the label has to be by itself--no background or anything else.

The bg is on one layer and the label is on another above it (on the event tracks) to get the effect you're looking for.

Wait a minute, I see what you're saying. I don't think you can do that in Vegas without "peeling" the entire frame.

Yes,
the page turn etc FXs in Vegas does not respect alpha. The page itself can never made to be transparent which is a real bummer.

this is one reason the titler sux so bad

if you could segregate and actual PSD data without vegas treating teh background as well, there wouldnt be a problem.. but u cant.. so even if u have text with alpha, and u want to peel it, the "black" non data area will also peel

"... if i resize the label image without background what occours is the page peel is resized too!"

What if you made the label full-frame size, shrink it down (zoom out using Pan/Crop) to the size you want it to be, and then apply the peel? Wouldn't that work? Then the whole label, being the "full frame" would peel away but because you sized it the label alone would appear to peel away?

Can you see what I'm suggesting?
