How to Move the Cursor to Next Clip

Loopydo wrote on 12/11/2012, 7:20 PM
Using Movie Studio Platinum 12.

With the VIDEO track selected in the timelime, how can I advance the cursor to the beginning of the next clip?

Some articles say the Ctrl-Alt-R/L-Arrow should do it, but that doesn't do anything.

Some say to use Shft-Alt-R/L-Arrow, but that doesn't work either.

I can't find anything in the Help file either.

Please help.

Ctrl+Alt+Left and Ctrl+Alt+Right Arrow will work IF you have an event clip selected.

How does one select an event clip??

I've captured video clips from my DV camcorder and imported them into Vegas. Added tem to the timeline, and selected the VIDEO track. Then Ctrl-Alt-Right-Arrow does nothing.

I think I found the answer. The "[" or "]" keys move the cursor to the start or end of a clip.

Click on the clip itself .. not the track header. Go to a screen where you can see the end of one clip and the begining of the next. Now click on the left clip. it will be highlighted while the right clip will not.
