I'm trying to render my video file as a Pal DV Widescreen using Sony Vegas Movie Studio. It's only three minutes long but if I use the default settings as an AVI file it ends up at over 900mb. I want to load it up onto Vimeo which has a limit of 500 mb. I don't seem to be able to adjust the data rate using AVI. I have tried changing the kpbs (eg: 256, 512) with other file formats, eg: Quicktime, and it works but the files are tiny and of bad quality. How can I make the video a small file size but not sacrifice so much quality? (I have it set as 'good' quality, not 'best' and not 'preview'). I have output videos before without having this issue.
