How to Play and Return to Current Frame?

I've been having trouble getting my Shuttle Pro working properly after the current update of Windows? It is not related specifically to Vegas but also my other software. OS update or just my machine? Is there a specific key command that will make the preview window Play and return to Current frame? If not, how is this done in Vegas?

I'm on Vegas Pro version 321, running Windows 10 Cumulative Update 1709 (KB4093110)

There are two ways to Play in vegas. There is PLAY/PAUSE and PLAY/STOP. Play/Stop returns to where the cursor started. You can change the spacebar function under preferences and then program a button on the shuttle to be spacebar. If you hit ENTER it will always play/pause.

Thanks david-tu. That's the way I always had the shuttle programmed but it stopped working after the update. I tried restarting and closing down Windows and nothing would make my shuttle work properly again. After you posted this, my shuttle started working again. How did you do that? :)
