How to re-install Video Transitions & FX plug-ins NT 4.0

Hi all:
Vid Fact 1.0 on a NT 4.0 machine.
I have more than enough RAM & 8MB vid card

Never get the video transitions or Vid FX plug-ins.

Can I re-install just these?
(I've already re-installed the entire software)

Could my video card settings have something to do with this?

or possibly the NT OS ?????

Thanks-

RJ,

Have the transitions and FXs ever worked?

Have you tried another OS, I don't think VF 1.0 is supported on NT?

Are you missing the tabs for them or do they not show up in your pre-render? Slower systems have trouble displaying special effects when pre-rendering.

The FX & Trans have never showed up.

I've used a Win98 machine, used the FX, saved the .vf file & brought that into VF on the NT machine.

The fx & Trans were still there in the project but I have no access to them for editing.

I think I'm just lucky I've been able to "limp" thru with the NT machine.

Been trying to get my boss to let me update my OS to Windows 2000 or XP.

My Win98 machine (at home) is NOT the SE version & I cannot try the VF 2.0 update.

Do I have to update my Win98 to run VF 2.0 or even Vegas 3.0?

I think you are SOL on NT.

As for Win 98, you should be able to instal VF 2.0. Just make sure you have installed the DirectX 8 and Microsoft DV updater before you install VF 2.0.
