How to rename multiple clips on the fly.

I've captured about an hour and a half of analog video. During the process, I stopped the capturing at 3 different points in order to avoid having just one huge file.

Anyhow, I would like to split the clips further and rerender them as an AVI in order to keep as much of the original quality as possible.

So, is there a way by means of a script, or something like Tsunami or some other plug-in that will automatically rerender the clips and rename them sequencially?

Take a look at Capture Cutter in the Veggie Toolkit to see if it will do what you want. I use this tool for cutting large clips into smaller ones. You can create Regions for the parts that you want to keep and the script will name the output files with the region name.

Yes, the Asset Collector in Neon.
