How to render 1920x1080 for others?

There has been much written here and elsewhere about the problems of downrezzing HD to DVD, particularly with line twitter.

I am trying to render a 12 sec sequence to upload so that others can download it and see if they can convert it to SD MPG2 without line twitter.

The MXF templates in Vegas only seem to allow 1440x1080, and the ability to change frame size is greyed out, even though the oringinal clip on the timeline is 1920x1080.

What therefore is the best way to output this in a way that truly represents the original camera footage?

Thanks.

Do these "down-converter" people have Vegas? The format you send them will be dependant on what software they have to process it with. However, as a general rule assuming they have the means with all I use m2t. Keeps the full resolution and quality, but you could also send Cineform avi or mpeg4 or mv2

Peter,
if the original clip isn't huge you could upload it to my FTP server. Drop me an email and I'll line it up.
Bob.

Thanks for the offer Bob, but it's a 2Gb camera clip - I just want to render a 12 second portion with twittering in a specific place after downrezzing to DVD format.

I'll try one of those suggestions from MH_S.
