Nope. The limit for FAT32 is 4GB.

Vegas may actually let you *write* the 7GB file directly onto the stick, but it won't be readable.
Trying to copy it from Windows explorer to the stick will fail.

There are Mac utilities that can mount NTFS for reading.

Both OSX and Windows can read / write exFAT.

Macdrive from Mediafour is the other way around these kinds of problem however exFAT means no matter who tries to read the stick they should be OK.

I don't know what your compressed file size would be in Handbrake, but you will be able to get it below 4GB without much of a quality hit.

(Handbrake has a "Large file size" compatibility checkbox but it won't help your circumstance. You will still need to get it below 4GB to use on FAT32 media.)

As Bob indicated, "format your stick" for exFat then copy or render your 7G file to the stick.

OSX can read NTFS, Just cannot write.

Lion for sure - if not earlier.

Note to troglodytes: Win XP won't normally read/write exFAT but a Microsoft driver is available for download.
