I've seen reference in this forum to opening up multiple versions of Vegas for a single project, whereby one edits a section in one and then copies and pastes it into a second and while renderering it in the background.

Can anyone give me more specifics on the best way to do this?

Do you use your primary version as the one that has all the edits?

Where do you place the rendered avi events? In the third version?
