How to Set Event Velocity Envelopes w/Numbers?

Quick question: Does anyone know how to set event clip-specific velocity values using a digital number instead of having to manually slide the horizontal green line up and down that's on top of the clip?

It's a hassle to have to manually scrub these up and down, specifically when for example I have 5 different clips that need to be at 180%, to have to manually move the horizontal event velocity line up to the exact value each time on the timeline... I'd expect V8 has some way for us to enter those values numerically vs having to physcially "move" the event velocity envelope line up to the exact percentage for each clip - any ideas?

Right-click on the velocity envelope keyframe you want to change and select Set To... from the context menu. An entry field will open up next to the keyframe and let you type in a number.

If you're doing a bunch of clips, you could also use a script to set a velocity envelope to all selected events to a specific percentage.

BTW, the method mentioned by JR has been there in the previous versions of Vegas as well.

Thanks Johnny, much appreciated - I'm slowly teaching myself how to use C4D/AE to do broadcast motion design flyins/flyouts like tv logos for my sites, and that'll help, so I can speed up/slow down/reverse clips ... thanks for the tip!

1] Set Clip A to 180

2] Copy A

3] Select the other clips and Right Click "Copy Paste Atribs"

4] Trim back to notch.

. . or . . .

Make a NEST out of the clips and bring into project and apply 180 to the nest

Dude, analog numbers are here to stay. They're so much warmer than digital.
