How to speed up clip between several frames.

I have a clip that I want to speed up midway through but after the speed up it resumes at normal speed. I can only find tutorial videos on how to speed up the whole clip. Please help.

If you are using Vegas Pro, look for the Velocity Envelope. This allows you to keyframe speed changes.

Right Click where you want the speed change to start and select "Split". Repeat where you want the speed change to end. You can then change the new clip to suit your fancy.

On the Insert Menu select Video Envelopes / Event Velocity. Insert points on the green line and drag them up and down to suit your fancy.
