How to un-split Trimmer window?

Peyton-Todd wrote on 10/20/2012, 5:43 PM
Experimenting for the first time with the Trimmer window, I had what looked fine (just the video, which is all I want since the result will have no audio), but at some point I pressed a combination of keys that suddenly changed the Trimmer display into a top portion showing the video and a bottom portion showing the audio.

How do I get back my video-only display in the Trimmer?

Thanks,
Peyton

right click in the trimmer window and there are several different options.

Yes, there are lots of options there, but none does the job. Even the most promising ones, that say Select Video (or Audio) Only simply to what they claim to do: they select what you ask for. They don't change the split screen effect. When I first loaded the trimmer, I saw only video. That's what I want again.

Or maybe I'm just mistaken. When I load a file I know has no video, only video shows up in the Trimmer window...

The much bigger problem is one I'll supply in the next post.

Try and hover your mouse over where the video meets the audio (should be 2 horizontal parallel lines and your cursor should change to 2 short horizontal lines with 2 arrows going in different directions, left click and hold and drag the lines up or down accordingly.
