How would YOU do this?

I videotaped and edited a local dance school's Spring show. Turned out great. NOW I'm putting together the DVD menu and I want to include the program that was handed out as a menu option. I'd love to make it interactive...zoom in etc, but I'll settle to just have it show up. They sent it to me in word format. HELP!

(I COULD just type in the kids names' in a rolling credit, but there were over 250 of them)

Are the names listed in columns on the program?

Could you scan the listing or even photograph the program?

Then get it onto your timeline and use pan/crop with keyframing to slowly scroll down the list of names. If the resolutions stays clean enough to read the text maybe that would be a quick and easy way to do the job instead of typing in so many names (without any spelling mistakes either ;-)

If it's a Word document, I think you can paste it into the titler.

I know this works with the basic titler in Vegas as I do this a few times a year.
I usually save the Word file out as a plain text file and then do my copy/pastes.
